Nutrition goes beyond food, it serves as an empowering resource for individuals to take control of their lives and health; physical, mental and emotional. We all have unique needs, motivations and lifestyles, and our nutrition approach needs to fit these factors. I have always had a passion for health and wellness, but it became personal when I saw the effects of nutrition on my life.
Growing up – food controlled me. From over-restricting and undereating, to emotional eating and believing I’m eating the “right” health foods – but doing so in all the wrong ways. Food consumed my thoughts and controlled my day-to-day.

When I started studying and applying nutrition however, the foundation of health became clear – when we fuel our bodies properly, with individualized nutrition, the internal and external effects are powerful. My skin cleared up, my mood felt balanced, I felt energized and motivated to tackle the day instead of being fatigued as soon as I woke up… the positive benefits could go on and on. I became a dietitian to bring this knowledge to the world, to share my skills and background to help you explore your own personalized and tailored nutrition journey that works for YOU!
My Masters in Public Health has given me the opportunity to research and practice in a variety of settings and communities. I understand that nutrition is not as easy as fruits and vegetables. We need to look at the whole picture from lifestyle, to environment, to culture, to priorities and work from there. Through my personal and professional experience, I continue to gain the knowledge of how to best utilize nutrition for our dynamic, ever-changing environments.

In my own health journey, I have experienced the impact of hormonal imbalance and disconnected women’s health care. I had a strained relationship with food, I was bloated, fatigued, and felt like a stranger in my own body – and there were no clear guidelines as to why. But through implementing nutrition at its core, in all shapes and forms, I was able to find balance in health, my way. This led me to my passion and direction in women’s health and integrative nutrition; I want to give you an open, judgment-free space to uncover what you need for health success as well.
It is my mission to take what I have learned and bring it to you so that you feel heard. To take an integrative approach to your health to get to the root of the problem so that you feel like you. I will teach you the information, skills and habits you need to flourish from the inside out and I am so excited to go on this journey with you!

What do you love about working at INC?
The pure passion, drive to succeed and impact, as well as the energy and authenticity that the team emanates, is contagious and made me fall in love with INC.

How do you believe INC makes a difference in clients’ lives?
INC makes a difference in clients’ lives because we prioritize the individual. We look at the client as a whole, through a dynamic, evidence-based lense, that goes beyond what is physically seen. Health is so much more than what you eat, it is a combination of factors, both physical and mental, and here at INC that is the focus. Long-term, whole-health habits encapsulate the individual’s version of health.
What does the correlation between nutrition & mental health mean to you?
Nutrition can serve as a catalyst to empower individuals; that impacts their bodies, their minds, and their souls because it is all thoroughly connected, both internally and externally. The power of strong nutrition is both within the content of the food; which plays a part in our body systems and functions, as well as the environmental and emotional relationship we have with food. I believe that as we shift our perspective on nutrition’s utilizations to a whole-health mindset, we can have a powerful impact on the health of indivdiuals.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I’m not out and about exploring restaurants, markets and new areas, I find myself enjoying the little things with the people I love. From experimenting with recipes to watching subpar reality tv or traveling to a new city for the weekend, I love discovering something different. I love pilates, coffee, singing in the rain and long walks on the beach. There will always be music on in my home and laughter echoing.
